Four DFB units deal with serious house fire in Sandycove

FOUR UNITS OF Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) dealt with a serious house fire in Sandycove in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.

No one was injured in the fire but a spokesperson for DFB described the incident as “serious”.

Dublin Fire Brigade said that four units and a turntable ladder were tasked to the fire which broke out at around 1.15am this morning at the house on Marine Parade in the popular seaside area of south Dublin.

The fire brigade was on the scene a short time later and was there until 10am this morning with four pumps dealing with the fire at one stage before the operation was scaled back.

All of the people in the house were safely accounted for, DFB added.
