Four shortlisted for Ireland's friendliest business

Award will be given to business judged to excel in customer care, shop layout and other factors that lead to good consumer experience.

FOUR BUSINESSES based in Dublin, Mayo and Cork have been shortlisted for the title of Ireland’s Friendliest Business.

The Junior Chamber International (Ireland) asked for nominations from the public last July and have whittled it down to four finalists:

HealthWest Community Pharmacy, Ballindine, Co Mayo

The Bald Barista, café, Aungier Street, Dublin city

Broderick’s Chemist, Barrack Street, Cork

Lusk Motor Group, Lusk, Co Dublin

The winner will be announced at this year’s Friendly Business Awards on Friday, 7 October, at 7pm at the JCI national convention in Galway.

The businesses are being judged on their excellence in customer care/friendliness; eco-friendliness; shop layout and design; disability access; the Friendly X-Factor. See the JCI website for more information – or to nominate a business for next year’s contest.
