Man suffers fractured skull in early morning attack

The victim, who’s in his 20s, hasn’t been able to give a description of his attacker, or if a weapon was used.

POLICE IN BELFAST are appealing for information after a man suffered a fractured skull in an early morning attack yesterday.

The man, in his 20s, was on Beechmount Parade when it happened, shortly before 6am.

“He has been unable to give a description of the person or persons involved at this time, or if a weapon was used,” Detective Sergeant Melanie McGrory said.

“Following medical attention at hospital the man was found to have suffered a fractured skull.”

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the PSNI at Woodbourne via the non emergency number ’101′.

Information can also be passed on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
