Missing person Frank Helly found safe and well

The 80-year-old man went missing from his nursing home on Sunday night.

GARDAI HAVE LOCATED Frank Helly who had been missing from Moycullen since Sunday evening.

The 80-year-old man went missing from his nursing home, Balinahalla Nursing Home in Moycullen, County Galway.

An extensive search was launched for Mr Helly. Coast Guards and the Garda Air Support unit were drafted in to search the area.

It’s reported that Mr Helly was found by a local man who was out with volunteers looking for him. He has been taken to hospital for a check-up but is reported to be well.

The gardaí thanked the public for their assistance.
