Pictures: Frenzied bargain shoppers hit US stores on Black Thursday/Friday

It’s traditionally a time when retailers turn a profit for the year.

THANKSGIVING TRADITIONS INCLUDE, turkey, family, pumpkin pie, sports and most importantly for these people anyway, sales.

For those who didn’t fall into a turkey-induced coma on the couch, they hit the shops instead in search of bargains.

Shops usually open early in the morning on the day after Thanksgiving, however some stores have decided to start banking in by opening on Thanksgiving evening.

Here’s what the shopping frenzy looks like:
