Fresh appeal over Dublin shooting

Gardaí call for all witnesses to Finglas shooting to contact them.

GARDAÍ ARE seeking fresh information in relation to a Dublin shooting, in which two men were injured.

Both 45-year-old Anthony McDonagh and his 26-year-old nephew Kieran McDonagh were shot by a lone gunman two weeks ago.

Anthony McDonagh, a father of five, remains critically ill in hospital. He was shot five times. Kieran McDonagh was shot in the shoulder but has since been released from hospital.

The incident took place by the River Road in Finglas. The men were sitting in traffic when the gunman attacked.

Gardaí say that they want all of those who were present at the scene to contact them.
