Take a look at the big, beautiful Friday 13 moon

Woah.

IT’S ANOTHER FEW hours before darkness falls here in Ireland, but it looks we have a treat in store.

Here’s tonight’s moon, as snapped by astronaut Soichi Noguchi. It’s big, beautiful, and a gorgeous milky-yellow colour. The moon is at a particularly low point at the moment, hence its size.

Notably, it’s a full moon – and it falls on Friday 13. Are you superstitious? We hope not…

Gaze on this pic and take a few deep breaths to calm yourself. It’ll be Saturday 14 before you know it.
