Friends seek help tracing Sligo man missing in Spain

Eoghan Timoney, who lives in Spain, has not been seen since Sunday night and friends are concerned for his welfare.

A MAJOR ONLINE campaign has been launched to try and locate an Irish man who has been missing in Spain since last Sunday afternoon.

Eoghan Timoney, 36, who lives full-time in Spain, has not been seen since he went missing from his adopted home town of Gijon, in Asturias on the country’s northern coast.

Friends of the missing Liverpool fan began a major Twitter campaign this evening to seek help in finding the Sligo native, and a Facebook page has been set up to share possible information on his whereabouts.

Anyone who may have seen Timoney, or who has information on where he might be, is asked to email eoghanslight@gmail.com. They can also telephone 0035 34 63 37 85419, or 00 34 63 77 51 417.
