Funerals of three Kerry crash victims

The funerals of three teenagers who died in a Co Kerry crash will take place today.

THE FUNERALS OF three teenagers killed in a Co Kerry car crash last Wednesday are taking place today.

Two of the victims were brothers.

17-year-old David Breen and 15-year-old Kevin Breen will be buried together today in Killarney.

The funeral of the other victim, 19-year old Brian Coffey, will take place today in Fossa.

The funeral of the forth victim, 15-year-old Áine Riordan from Castleisland, took place on Friday.

Five friends had been travelling together when their car was involved in a single vehicle crash on the Killarney to Mallow road. The sole survivor, a 16-year-old boy, remains in a stable condition in hospital.

President Mary McAleese has expressed a message of sympathy on behalf of the nation to the victims’ families.
