A MAN HAS been hospitalised after apparently becoming trapped in a piece of furniture in Cork city earlier this afternoon.

The incident happened at a property on Model Farm Road.

Cork’s Red FM reports that the man became stuck in a fitted kitchen unit.

He was safely removed from the unit following the intervention of two ambulances, the Gardaí and Cork Fire Brigade.

“Gardaí were called to a scene at a property on Model Farm Road at midday,” a Garda spokesman told TheJournal.ie.

A male had apparently become stuck in a cupboard. The fire brigade were called and the man was released.
He was brought to Cork University Hospital with no apparent injuries.

A lucky escape.
