It’s the fourth Allsop Space auction of distressed property tomorrow – and we’ve got some highlights of what’s on offer…

MORE THAN 100 ‘distressed’ properties will go on sale in the fourth Allsop Space auction tomorrow.

The firesale at the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin 2, will see lots with reserve prices ranging between €7,500 and almost €500,000 go under the hammer.

The most expensive property is a building set up as two restaurants in leafy Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 – whose reserve is €485,000.

But canny buyers might be more interested in the house in Convoy, Co Donegal for a reserve of just €26,000 – or another in Ballinrobe at €25,000.

    you gave your money to the banks? i just hold mine in it, not give it over to them. that could be your problem!

    another bloke here gave his money to india, thats a bad move.

    stop blaming everyone else for our mess we voted the last govt in, then this one so we have to get on with what we have. too many people downbeat.

    pin the shoulder back, stand proud and stop giving out. we are a proud people lets act like it.

    I didn’t say I wanted to do it, but I also didn’t say otherwise, but there would be nothing in either of those acts that negates democracy. In fact, if it happened and it was popular it would reaffirm democracy, although not necessarily the diluted “you may be consulted on indirectly selecting a leader every few years but it’ll make no difference anyway” type of democracy we have here.

    I have an apt in the beacon…. judging by those prices it’s now valued at about 35% of my mortgage amount …. fantastic fun!!
