Fourth person released in Galway murder investigation

The woman was one of four people arrested in connection with the murder – the other three people have been released.

GARDAÍ INVESTIGATING THE murder of a man in Athenry on 30 May have released the final person who was arrested earlier this week.

Gardaí in Galway investigating the murder of 40-year-old Krzysztof Ciesielski in Athenry, Co Galway, on 30 May this year have released a woman in her 30s from custody.

A file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The woman and three men were arrested on the evening of 6 June. The three men were released without charge earlier today and files will be prepared for the DPP.

All four people who were in custody have now been released.

Krzysztof Ciesielski sustained serious head injuries during an incident outside a house at Cullairbaun Estate on 30 May.
