Two arrested after stolen vehicles discovered

The operation was carried out in the North Louth area.

TWO MEN WERE arrested after gardaí discovered stolen vehicles in the Louth area.

Gardaí said today that as a result of a planned intelligence-led operation, gardaí from Dundalk assisted by Garda National Units recovered a number of stolen vehicles including car component parts and other property.

They carried out the operation yesterday in the North Louth area.

During the course of this operation two men in their mid 20s were arrested.

The men are both detained at Dundalk under the provisions of Section 4 – Criminal Justice Act 1984.
