Body of 16-year-old boy found in Cork

The body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will determine the cause of death.

THE BODY OF a 16-year-old boy was found in Cork this morning.

Gardaí were called to the scene at around 10.40 after the discovery was made in the Deermount area.

Gardaí are investigating the sudden death and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

The body has been removed to Cork University Hospital where a post mortem will determine the cause of death.

The scene was preserved this morning and a technical examination has been completed.
