Amazingly, no-one was seriously hurt when this car smashed into trees

The sole occupant of the car had a lucky escape.

GARDAÍ POSTED THE following picture on social media yesterday, by way of a warning to motorists about slippy road surfaces.

“Be careful dry road becomes greasy after rain,” gardaí said.

Remarkably, no-one was seriously injured in the crash.

“Minor injuries only,” the force confirmed.

The single-car collison happened near Brittas on the Dublin-Wicklow county border at around 1030am on Wednesday.

Gardaí confirmed there was one occupant of the car.
