Garda investigation underway after man’s body discovered at vacant property in Co Donegal

The deceased man has not yet been identified.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING “all of the circumstances” surrounding the discovery of a man’s body at a vacant property in Co Donegal today.

The deceased man’s body was discovered at a property in Dundrain, Burnfoot, Co Donegal, at around 2:30pm this afternoon.

The man has not yet been identified and has been removed to the mortuary at University Hospital Letterkenny for a post-mortem examination.

The Office of the State Pathologist and the local Coroner have been notified.

The scene remains preserved for technical and forensic examination.

A garda spokesperson said the results of the post-mortem will assist Gardaí in determining the course of their investigations.
