Crackdown: Gardaí clocked these cars breaking speed limits by almost double

Officers are urging drivers to slow down.

GARDAÍ ARE URGING drivers to slow down after a number of cars were clocked over the limit.

An Garda Síochána sent out tweets showing cars driving almost double the speed limit in an operation targeting Donegal.

One car was spotted doing 112 kph in a 60 limit zone, while another was hitting 120 in a 80kph zone.

Gardaí also warned that ‘speed kills’ while reporting on the speeding in Donegal.
