Poll: Do you support the garda strike?

It’s no ‘blue flu’, it’s a full four-day stoppage.

GARDA MEMBERS OF the Garda Representative Association will strike for four days in November.

The action calls for the full restoration of garda pay to pre-recession levels.

Despite questions of the legality of a garda strike, the GRA has confirmed that this will be a regular action as opposed to a mass ‘blue flu’ sick day.

The GRA says that 10,500 gardaí would not be reporting for work on the four Fridays but that emergency and 999 services would be kept in place.

Today’s question, Do you support the garda strike?
