Poll: Are you concerned about the Garda strike?

Will it be a field day for criminals?

GARDAÍ WILL WITHDRAW their labour on 4, 11, 18 and 25 November.

Rank-and-file members will be joined by sergeants and inspectors, meaning most gardaí will not be on duty, but stations will be manned.

A garda spokesperson said there are “mechanisms in place for resolving these matters” and that the Commissioner would encourage all bodies to remain engaged.

But does lack of Garda presence worry you? Will it be a field day for criminals?

We’re asking: Are you concerned about the Garda strike?

Poll Results:

No (6193)
Yes (5147)
I don't know (378)
