Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Cork stabbing to come forward

A man in his thirties is in a serious condition after being stabbed in Knocknaheeny earlier this evening.

GARDAÍ IN CORK are appealing for information following a serious stabbing incident in Knocknaheeny earlier this evening.

The incident, in which a man in his thirties received serious stab wounds happened at Holyhill Lane at around 5pm.

He was taken to Cork University Hospital where his condition is described as critical.

Gardaí at Gurranabraher are appealing for anyone who was in the Harbour View Road/Holyhill Estate area between 5pm and 5.30pm to come forward.
