Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Ennis stabbing

Man in his 20s was stabbed outside a house in Ennis late last night.

GARDAÍ IN CLARE ARE appealing for witnesses to a serious assault on a 24-year-old man in Ennis shortly after midnight last night.

The man was stabbed a number of times outside a house at Waterpark Heights, Ennish.

He was taken to Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick and his condition is described as stable.

The scene has been preserved for a forensic examination, and gardaí are appealing to anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them on 065 6848 100 or on the garda confidential line 1800 666 111.
