Gardaí appeal for information after man stabbed in Dublin

Gardaí and emergency services were called to an apartment complex on Clanbrassil Street Lower at around 10.40pm.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are appealing for information after a man sustained stab wounds during an incident in the Clanbrassil Street Lower area last night.

Gardaí and emergency services were called to an apartment complex on Clanbrassil Street Lower at around 10.40pm.

A 30-year-old local man was found to have sustained a number of stab wounds.

He was treated by emergency service personnel and removed by ambulance to St James’ Hospital. His condition is understood to be stable.

It was not initially clear where the assault took place and a crime scene was later discovered and preserved at nearby St Vincent Street. The scene will be examined by local scenes of crime personnel.

No arrests have been made to date and gardaí said enquiries are ongoing.
