Appeal for witnesses after shop robbed at gunpoint in Cork

GARDAÍ ARE APPEALING for information after a shop in Cork city centre was robbed at gunpoint.

A man entered a premises on MacCurtain Street last Saturday evening.

He threatened staff with a firearm, and left with an unknown quantity of jewellery.

The incident occurred just before 6pm.
