Driver arrested after failing to stop for speeding and crashing into ditch

A MOTORIST WHO was driving at 147 kilometres per hour in a 100 kilometre zone has been arrested and charged after failing to stop for gardaí and crashing.

The car crashed into a ditch in Donegal.

Gardaí confirmed that there were no injuries following the incident.

The driver was arrested and has been charged to appear in court at a later date.
