Gardaí renew appeal for information over missing James Meechan

James Meechan from Ashbourne in Co Meath has not been seen since Tuesday,

GARDAÍ HAVE RENEWED their appeal for information over missing Meath man James Meechan, who has not been seen since Tuesday.

James Meechan, 59, from Ashbourne in Co Meath, was last seen seen at approximately 9am in Ashbourne village on Tuesday 13 November 2012.

He is described as 5 foot 10 inches in height, of average weight and build, with white-grey hair. He has a scar over his left eyebrow.

James, who speaks with a Scottish accent, was last seen wearing a black woollen hat and a black ski jacket with green grey stripes and reflective patches on the shoulders and wrists.

He is known to travel to the west of Ireland on occasion.

Anyone with any information on James’ whereabouts is asked to contact Gardaí in Ashbourne on             01 8010 600      , or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
