Gardaí seize counterfeit clothing in Cabra

Fake designer clothes and other goods worth an estimated €100k were seized on Thursday.

GARDAÍ FROM THE Intellectual Property Crime Unit of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation have seized counterfeit goods from a house in Cabra, Dublin 7.

The search was carried out on Thursday as part of an ongoing operation involving this garda unit.

During the search, gardaí seized counterfeit clothing and other goods worth an estimated €100,000.

The items seized include fake designer clothing, sunglasses and footwear, as well as vacuum packing equipment and an industrial embroidery and labelling machine.

No arrests have been made and gardaí are continuing their investigation.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone with any information regarding the production, sale or supply of counterfeit goods to contact their local garda station or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111.
