Suspected gas leak at Grafton Steet River Island

The busy store has been forced to close this afternoon.

THE RIVER ISLAND store on Grafton Street has closed because of a  suspected gas leak.

Bord Gáis Networks received a call at 10am today to dispatch a team out to the shop.

The store was completely evacuated and remains so as technical staff investigate the possible leak.

A spokesperson for River Ireland said they were unsure when the store might reopen.
