Body of missing pensioner George Manson found in search of Wicklow Mountains

The 76-year-old, from Blackrock, went missing at the weekend. His car was located in Wicklow on Tuesday.

THE BODY OF missing Dublin pensioner George Manson was found during a search in the Wicklow Mountains last evening.

The 76-year-old had been missing since the weekend.

On Tuesday, his car was found close to the Army rifle range in the Manor Kilbride area.

Three garda dog teams, the Coast Guard helicopter and local search and rescue volunteers have taken part in a search of the area in recent days.

George, who was from the Blackrock area of south Dublin, was last seen in the nearby Stillorgan area on Sunday evening.
