Girl (5) dies after getting head stuck in lift

Tragic news.

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD GIRL has died after her head became stuck in a lift at a house in Weymouth in the UK.

Sky News is reporting that Dorset Police were called to an address in Emmadale Close at 11.58am to reports that a child’s head was trapped.

Paramedics, police and firefighters were present, but the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family has been informed and the coroner has been notified.

A spokesman for Dorset Police told Sky News an investigation has been launched to establish what happened.

The street where the house is located is currently closed while the scene is being examined.
