Last two 'smart homes' available from €230k at this new development in Gorey

Houses at Gleann an Ghairdin come with an optional smart technology package.

SMART HOME technology is high on the wishlist for many first-time buyers, and the growth in remote working has only reaffirmed the importance of connectivity.

The last two units now available in the current phase at Gleann an Ghairdin in Gorey, Co Wexford aim to cater to this need, with a smart home pack based on Google’s Nest system being offered as an option.

The pack features a Nest smart doorbell, a security camera for the rear garden, and smart control of lighting and thermostats by phone or voice command as well as manually.

Gleann an Ghairdin is located a short distance to the north of the town, a thriving community which is also popular with commuters.

Prices start at €230,000 for three-bedroom homes, with four-bedroom properties also forming part of this phase. Bookings are also being taken for the next release, which is expected to come in summer 2021.

All homes are ‘near-zero’ energy rated with an A2 BER, and feature additional sustainability measures including photovoltaic panels and air-to-water heat pumps. Rooms are designed to be spacious and bright throughout, and each home comes with a fully cultivated and seeded rear garden.
