Craving a takeaway? Here’s some inspiration to help you order a delicious meal

Visit Deliveroo’s app or website to order some mouthwatering meals.

NOTHING QUITE SAYS relaxation like leaving the pots and pans in the press and sitting down with a delicious takeaway.

Getting a delivery before putting the feet up and throwing something on your laptop or TV, or gathering around a table with friends and family in a laid-back setting and unwinding after a busy week, can be utter bliss. You never need an excuse to order food in and it’s a brilliant way to try new cuisines, expand your taste buds, or just to eat something delightfully tasty.

When ordering food, Deliveroo is a one-stop shop that is sure to satisfy your cravings. With everything from super healthy options to fried food banquets, they have something for everyone to indulge in this weekend. If you’re planning on watching the Champions Cup with a big group of mates or looking to refuel after a big day out adventuring (as long as the weather allows), treat yourself to some sumptuous grub.

Looking for inspiration on what to order? We’ve compiled a list of some of our favourite takeaways available on Deliveroo, just in time for the weekend.

Yeeros

Located just beside the Royal Canal in Phibsborough, Yeeros has been serving delicious Greek dishes for several years. You can expect the freshest of gyros, with flame-grilled meats, Mediterranean-inspired fillings, and veggie options, all wrapped in a soft, tasty pita, or available on a plate. Meal deals are available, as well as sharing platters, perfect for enjoying with friends and family. The main courses are all delicious, but the starters, such as grilled halloumi and zucchini fritters, are also worth checking out.

Our recommendation: The Loukoumades Nutella – fried donuts with heaps of Nutella drizzled over them – are absolutely to die for.

Umi Falafel

Active since 2013, Umi Falafel serves up sumptuous vegetarian and vegan Lebanese cuisine, with its falafel made fresh every morning using a blend of 14 secret ingredients. In Arabic, Umi means ‘Mother’, and whatever you order is sure to reflect the love and care put into every meal by our loving mothers. Using only the freshest ingredients, with sauces and bread made daily in-house, this is a great option for a delicious meal that won’t leave you bloated (whilst still satisfying you, of course).

Our recommendation: The breaded halloumi cheese sticks, with their own divine mango dipping sauce, are a great snack to start with.

Sprout

With several locations across Dublin, including their largest in Kildare Village, fresh food connoisseurs Sprout have grown from strength to strength since bursting onto the food scene here several years ago. They provide packed salads, warm bowls, and wraps all filled to the brim with unbelievably fresh ingredients that come from their farm in Co. Kildare. Customers can either build their own bowl or choose from a variety of preset menu options such as their Indian-inspired Crispy Bombay Bowl or family recipe-turned-best-selling dish the Paprika Chica salad.

Our recommendation: The Tuscan salad bowl combines seasonal veg with a host of other gorgeous ingredients into a salad that will satisfy all your cravings.

PI

Inspired by the amazing pizza ovens of Naples, PI offers incredible wood-fired pizzas that use local and artisan suppliers to create a one-of-a-kind culinary treat in Dublin. Using flour sources from Naples, you can find typical pizzas as well as some unique flavour combinations that will get your palette dancing, including a number of vegan-friendly options. PI also offers a range of homemade dips that are well worth trying, even if it’s not your usual thing.

Our recommendation: The Nduja pizza is PI’s signature for a reason – a combination of nduja, honey, scamorza cheese, basil, tomato, and grano padano – and needs to be tried to be believed!

Panda Restaurant

With two locations in Dublin, Panda’s speciality is its wide appeal. Serving sushi and burgers, as well as a host of delicious bites in between, you will be enticed by its flavoursome and filling combos, perfect for catering to a large group with different tastes. The desserts are another mouth-watering aspect of Panda’s offering for those craving something sweet.

Our recommendation: The salmon poke bowl combines fish with traditional sauce, Japanese rice, carrots, mango, avocado, red onions, sunomono, edamame, spring onions and sesame seeds for a filling, yet healthy, choice.

Camile Thai

Award-winning Thai restaurant Camile has locations across the country, bringing its ‘good mood Thai food’ to our hungry population. If you’re looking for a healthy option that won’t break the bank, its meal deals will be sure to leave you satisfied. Expect noodles, rice, gorgeous soups, a wide selection of meat and seafood, and excellent veggie options, in what might be your new go-to for Asian cuisine.

Our recommendation: The green curry is the unofficial signature dish of Camile, with its popularity remaining sky-high since it was first added to the menu.
