Man killed in traffic collision in Co Galway

A motorbike and a car collided on the Gort to Scarriff road this morning.

A MAN IN HIS 20s has died after his motorbike was involved in a traffic collision in Co Galway.

The motorbike and a car collided on the Gort to Scarriff road at Inchaboy South shortly after 10am today and the bike’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two people travelling in the car have been taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The road has been closed at Inchaboy South to facilitate a technical examination of the scene and diversions are in place.
