HUNDREDS OF FAMILIES have gathered in Dublin Airport over the past few days to meet relatives returning to Ireland for Christmas.

There really is nothing like meeting a loved one off the plane after months or years apart, but what about a loved one you have never met before?

Doting grandmother Rosemary Moriarty from Killiney waited patiently for hours to meet Esmé (seven weeks old and fresh off the plane from San Francisco).
