Poll: Should Ireland support debt forgiveness for Greece?

Two peas in a pod?

IRELAND’S GOVERNMENT WILL support a move to extend payment deadlines for Greece, but not a debt forgiveness plan.

That is the report from Pat Leahy in today’s Sunday Business Post.

But what would be best for Ireland? Would allowing the Syriza government avoid their debt destabilise the Euro? Or should Ireland work to help another bailout country recover?

We’re asking: Should Ireland support debt forgiveness for Greece?

Poll Results:

Yes - they need the help (5319)
No - we took our medicine, they should too (4465)
No - it will hurt the Eurozone (1000)
Don't know (652)
