'He's a handsy guy': Guy Pearce suggests he was groped by Kevin Spacey during filming of LA Confidential

Since 2017, Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey has faced numerous claims of sexual assault and harassment.

AUSTRALIAN ACTOR GUY Pearce has suggested that he was groped by Kevin Spacey during the time the pair worked together on the 1997 film LA Confidential.

Pearce made his comments during an interview with Andrew Denton on Australia’s Interview talk show.

Denton asked Pearce about his time working with Spacey on the film.

“Yeah… Yeah… Tough one to talk about at the moment, yeah,” Pearce responded.

“Amazing actor, incredible actor. Slightly difficult time with Kevin, yeah,” he said.

He’s a handsy guy. Thankfully, I was 29 and not 14.

Since 2017, Spacey has faced numerous claims of sexual assault and harassment, as part of the broader scandal in Hollywood sparked by allegations against mogul Harvey Weinstein.

In October, Star Trek Discovery star Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual misconduct towards the then 14-year-old following a party in New York in 1986.

The following month, London’s world-famous Old Vic theatre said it had received 20 accusations of “inappropriate behaviour” on the part of its former artistic director Kevin Spacey.

The BBC reported yesterday that the Met Police is investigating three more claims of sexual assault against Spacey.

It was reported in November that the Met Police was looking into a number of allegations of sexual assault against Spacey.
