Over half a million worth of drugs seized in Cork

Four people have been arrested.

FOUR PEOPLE HAVE been arrested after a drugs seizure in Cork last night.

Approximately €600,000 worth of cannabis was discovered in an industrial estate in Frankfield in Cork city.

Three men and one woman, all aged between 35 and 45, were arrested.

They’re now being held at Togher and the Bridewell Garda stations.

Gardai made the seizure as part of Operation Nitrogen.

18 Kilos of harvested cannabis plants and approximately 250 cannabis plants were found.

The Divisional Drug Unit searched the unit with the assistance of local Garda Units.
