Spooky card tricks and scary snakes: what's your Halloween party turn?

Irish performance artists Grim Squeaker and Kitty Le Roux share theirs with us.

IT’S HALLOWEEN EVE and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a…. WHAT WAS THAT?

If you’re still looking for a scare at bedtime, Irish performance artist Grim Squeaker took some time out this week ahead of his Bleedin’ Deadly appearances in the Bram Stoker Festival, to share two of his best tricks with TheJournal.ie.

WARNING: One of these is not child-friendly but you can see it here - just DON’T try it at home.

Here’s the card trick we can put on the site without a health warning:

Meanwhile, his partner Kitty le Roux was teaching us how to care for snakes this week when we met them both as they prepped for their Halloween shows.

Happy Halloween Ireland!! Celebrate it for its uniqueness. Meanwhile here in Australia there is not one house in my neighborhood for my son to go trick or treat at. The true blue aussie bigot has shunned halloween this year calling it American and therefore un-australian(that’s a bad thing btw). And yet Easter, a celebration of chocolate and raising the dead is ok?
