LAST NIGHT WAS a busy night for emergency services in Dublin.

One 21-year-old man was fatally stabbed at flats in the south inner city, while two others are in a critical condition after separate knife attacks.

This is on top of the hundreds of 999 calls received, the almost two hundred fires battled, and the 30 assaults attended.

While it was a quiet night in many other parts of the country, it is a night where anti-social behaviour – be it involving alcohol, fireworks, or bonfires – is common.
