Gardaí investigating after two men hold up supermarket with hammers

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING after two men made off with a sum of cash in a supermarket robbery.

Two men entered a supermarket on the Dublin Road at Louth village at about 9.30pm last night.

The men are believed to have been armed with hammers.

They threatened staff and made their getaway on foot with a sum of cash.

There were no injuries reported and no arrests have been made.

Anyone with information on the robbery can contact gardaí at Drogheda on (041) 987 4200.
