Harrison Ford makes first public appearance since breaking bones in plane crash

The actor was appearing as part of a Star Wars panel at Comic-Con.

VETERAN ACTOR HARRISON Ford has made his first public appearance since crash landing a plane in March.

The incident saw him bring down his vintage two-seater aircraft on a golf course in Los Angeles.

A photograph released at the time showed the plane he was travelling in crashed on the golf course with the nose ripped from it. During the course of the crash Ford suffered a broken pelvis and ankle.

In his first public appearance since the incident he has appeared as part of a Star Wars panel at Comic-Con in San Diego.

Speaking at the event, Ford reportedly said, “I’m fine… I walked here so how bad can it be?”

He was appearing alongside Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher who he appeared alongside in the original films and with whom he will be reprising his role in the forthcoming Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.

According to The Guardian, the large convention hall broke into a standing ovation at Ford’s appearance, breaking a no standing rule that is in place.
