Poll: Do we do enough for our neighbours?

It’s often said people are less connected to their neighbours than previous generations were.

THERE HAS BEEN a lot of talk this week about the importance of looking out for other people in our communities.

The bodies of two elderly brothers who were both were deaf were discovered at their home in south Dublin after neighbours alerted gardaí when they had not seen one of the brothers for some time.

Age Action praised the neighbours for checking in on the brothers, and said people can become socially isolated in both urban and rural settings.

It’s often said people are less connected to their neighbours than previous generations were.

We want to know: Do you think people do enough for their neighbours?
