Here’s what €2.5m worth of vacuum-packed cannabis looks like

Superintendent Dave Taylor said today that the drugs find was part of an ongoing operation and is of major significance.

THE GARDAÍ HAVE released photos of the multi-million euro cannabis seizure that was made by the Coolock Drugs Unit last Friday.

Last week, the gardaí carried out a number of targeted searches and seized cannabis herb with and estimated street value of 2.5 million.

Each vacuum-packed clear bag is estimated to be worth €20,000.

Superintendent Dave Taylor said that the drugs find was part of an ongoing operation and is of major significance.

“It is indicative of the type of successes that targeted, analysis-led policing provides,” they added.
