#GANG RAPE: Thirteen men have appeared in an Indian court charged with the gang-rape of a woman. The attack was reportedly ordered by the village council because the woman had “brought shame” on her town.

#GOODFELLA: A 78-year-old gangster has been charged for his involvement with a robbery later immortalised in the movie Goodfellas. Vincent Asaro claims he never saw any of the $6 million stolen from a Lufthansa Airlines cargo delivery.

#TROLLS: Two people in England have been jailed for directing abusive messages at a feminist campaigner. Caroline Criado-Perez led a campaign to have Jane Austen’s face put on Britain’s £10 bank note. She was on the receiving end of abuse, including threats of rape.

#QUEBEC: The search for more than 30 people reported missing after a fire at a home for the elderly in the Canadian province of Quebec has gotten underway.
