m-obama-390x285 US First Lady Michelle Obama joins the calls for the release of 200 Nigerian schoolgirls.

#NIGERIA: World powers including the United States and China, joined in the search for the more than 200 Nigerian schoolgirls abducted by Boko Haram islamists. US First Lady Michelle Obama expressed sympathy for the schoolgirls, in a personal message on Twitter.

#RUSSIA: Russia said that the US is breaching international commerce rules by imposing sanctions on it over Ukraine.

#BOSTON: Dzokhar Tsarnaev, one of the suspected Boston Marathon bombers asked the US not to execute him. Tsarnaev’s lawyers said that last month’s botched executions, as well as the America’s position as one of the only western states that still carries out executions, meant that the punishment should be taken off the table.
