PARTING SHOT

The new Dr Who was revealed today and there are a lot of people out there who just can’t grasp the concept that the character will be played by a woman for the first time.

There were people giving out about it on social media so much so that the official Dr Who Twitter page released a statement calling on commentators to stop with the hate-speech.

The funny thing is that these are the same people who see no problem with a time-travelling phone box. But, a woman playing the lead character in a long-running BBC show? Not in our name!
