#UKRAINE: Russia today said that it had pulled troops back from the Ukrainian border. However, the USA and NATO disagreed, saying they’d seen no sign of withdrawals.

#MADDIE: British Police investigating disappearance of three-year-old Madeleine McCann at a Portuguese holiday resort have said that search “activity” would begin in the next few weeks. Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said activity would occur in “forthcoming weeks”, but he was unable to give more details.
