Three arrests as sawn-off shotgun and heroin seized in Cork

Three men were arrested in Gurranabraher in Cork City today following the seizure.

THREE MEN HAVE been arrested as part of an arms and drug seizure in Cork city today.

The three men, two aged 26 and one aged 36, were arrested in Lower Killeens, Gurranabraher at around 2pm today as part of a garda operation targeting the sale and supply of drugs in the city.

Heroin with an estimated street value of €150,000 was seized along with a sawn-off shotgun and a quantity of ammunition.

The men are being detained under section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act at Mayfield and Bridewell Garda stations.
