Police seek blue Ford Focus after man dies in early morning hit-and-run

The man in his 50s was hit by a car on the Tullychurry Road just before 3am this morning.

POLICE IN NORTHERN Ireland are appealing for information about a hit-and-run incident in Fermanagh in the early hours of this morning.

A man in his 50s died after being hit by a car on the Tullychurry Road in Leggs, near Belleek at around 2.50am.

The PSNI said they believe the man was struck by the front end of a blue Ford Focus which failed to stop.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area before or after the time of the incident to contact them.

The road is closed and is expected to remain that way for sometime, a PSNI spokesperson added.
