Man charged with planting hoax bombs and calling in fake threats

The 19-year-old was arrested yesterday in Craigavon, County Armagh.

A 19-YEAR-OLD IN Northern Ireland has been charged with calling in a series of hoax bomb threats.

The man was also charged with three counts of placing fake devices.

He is due to appear before Craigavon Magistrates Court tomorrow, to face 14 further charges of making hoax bomb calls, and a charge of wasting police time.

He was arrested yesterday in Craigavon in County Armagh, where all offences are alleged to have been committed.

An investigation into the alleged offences was launched by the Serious Crime Branch of the PSNI last summer.
