Poor lady, I know that road very well and it’s improved massively over the years with it being widened in places however certain parts are tricky. I’ve cycled over it twice and you need your wits about you on the descent.

RIP this can be a dangerous road in the wet. It’s a long tough climb that will sap the energy out of you. It’s a fast descent I’m guessing the poor woman was unable to take a bend.

Why in a tragic story like this are people like you obsessed with whether their comment is red or green thumb. Massively inappropriate

I am trying to figure out what I said that’s so wrong that I got red thumbed for it. I’m so sorry for that woman’s family, to think that she set out this morning to travel that beautiful road but heartbreakingly lost her life on it.

I see nothing wrong with what you said, maybe some people thought it was sexist. I refer you to what clint eastwood said recently.
And before someone else gets says it ,condolences to that women’s family and friends.

People say they don’t know why people red thumb, however the reason is obvious.

People are stupid, the majority anyway, statistical fact.

Secondly herd behaviour and political correctness gone mad, consensus thinking and knee jerk reactions.

They interpret your comment to be a criticism of someone who died tragically, and defend on you with condemnation to appease their own egos, mistakingly thinking that they are correct in doing so.

    Why? ………QED they are dumb

I was thinking the same that it was probably a sharp bend and not because she was a woman.I would have thought the same if the victim was a man. RIP

Dreadful, but people especially tourists should be warned of the hazards of Irish weather in mountainous areas and respect weather warnings.

All it would take on that road is a sheep to cross over. There are plenty on the descent towards Dingle.
